Two people arrested over Wadduwa party deaths remanded

Two people who were arrested yesterday over the death of four people after a party in Wadduwa last weekend were today ordered to be remanded till August 17th.

Among those arrested was the publicity officer of the organisers of the party.

Four people had been admitted to hospital after attending the party at a hotel?in?Wadduwa over the weekend.

Two people died and another two were in hospital.

A third person later died while the fourth person also later died.?(Colombo Gazette)
