Navy officers who recovered under quarantine for another 14 days

Navy officers who recovered from the coronavirus have been kept under quarantine for another 14 days, the Navy said today. The Navy media unit said that 283 Navy officers have so far recovered after contracting the virus and have been discharged from hospital. LIOC reverts to old price of petrol following pressure

Lanka Indian Oil Corporation (LIOC) today reverted to the old price of Octane 92 petrol following pressure from the Government. LIOC had this week increased the price of Octane 92 petrol by Rs. 5 selling it at Rs. 142/litre as opposed to Rs. 137/litre sold at state owned CPC sheds. Over 900 roadblocks during two day curfew

Over 900 roadblocks are to be set up across the country by the Police during the 2-day islandwide Police curfew to be imposed on Sunday (24) and Monday (25), the Police said.
