JVP MP Sunil Handunnetti re-elected as COPE Chairman

JVP Parliamentarian Sunil Handunnetti was re-elected as the Chairman of the?Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE).

State Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs Dr. Harsha de Silva said that?Handunhetti was unanimously elected as the Chairman of COPE.

“He did a good job thus far and wish him luck for even a better job in the remaining term of this Parliament. All parties except JO members present at COPE,”?Dr. Harsha de Silva tweeted following the COPE meeting today. (Colombo Gazette)

Police probe grenade attack in Angunakolapelessa
