Stolen medal of late Dr. Lester James Peiris returned to wife

The medal belonging to the late Dr Lester James Peiris, which was stolen and was later found, was returned to his wife?Sumithra Peiris today.

The Police had last month arrested five suspects over the theft of the medal belonging to the late Dr. Lester James Peiris.

The Golden Peacock medal was believed to have been stolen during his funeral.

It was later found on the overhead rack of a private bus in Colombo.?(Colombo Gazette)
