TNA decides to boycott vote on 2020 Appropriation Bill

The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has decided to boycott the vote on the 2020 Appropriation Bill. The Bill was presented to Parliament today and debated. TNA Parliamentarian M.A Sumanthiran said that the Bill is “strange” and an act to cover-up various illegalities perpetrated in Sri Lanka. Guidelines issued for households under quarantine on management of solid waste

Guidelines have been issued for the management of solid waste generated by households under self-quarantine. Households under self-quarantine have been advised to minimise waste generation. Three thousand cops in quarantine and 600 infected

Three thousand policemen are in quarantine while just over 600 have been infected, Police Spokesman, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajith Rohana said today.
