Argentine football legend Diego Maradona has passed away at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack. The Gimnasia coach had been hospitalised at the start of November, days after celebrating the landmark birthday, after complaining of low spirits and fatigue. Coronavirus forces closure of 45 schools in Kandy

The coronavirus has forced the closure of 45 schools in Kandy. The authorities have decided to close 45 schools in the Kandy City limits from tomorrow?until the 4th of December. Earlier this week 27 COVID- 19 patients were detected in the Kandy District. COPE told Chinese power plant not operating with required efficiency

The Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) has been told that the China funded vial power plant in Norochcholai is not operating with the required efficiency.
