Some Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) members say they will vote in support of the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in Parliament today.
Earlier SLFP member A.H.M Fowzie had said that the SLFP has decided to abstain from voting on the no-confidence motion.
However SLFP Ministers Dilan Perera and Lakshman Yapa Abeywardhana said that no such decision had been taken and that most SLFP members will vote for the no-confidence motion.
The vote on the no-confidence motion will be taken later tonight (Wednesday). (Colombo Gazette)
