Lanka IOC said that the price of 92 octane petrol was increased by Rs 9 per litre and the price of diesel by Rs 5 per litre.
Lanka IOC also said that the price Extra Premium Euro 03 was increased by Rs. 5 per litre and Extra Premium 95 octane by Rs. 2 per litre.
Accordingly, the revised price of a petrol litre would be Rs.126 and the price of a liter of diesel would be Rs. 100 after being subjected to the price increase.
Meanwhile, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) chairman Dhammika Ranatunga said that the CPC has not decided on a fuel price hike.
As a result, he says the price of fuel at CPC fuel stations will remain the same. (Colombo Gazette)
