Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando were today ordered to be further remanded over the Easter Sunday attacks. The Colombo Magistrate ordered that they be further remanded till 5 February. Students who returned from Wuhan in good health

The students who returned from Wuhan, China are in good health and are not showing any signs of sickness, the Health Ministry said today. Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, speaking to reporters today, said that the students had not shown any signs of sickness so far. Three people killed after falling into abandoned mine

Three people were killed after falling into an abandoned mine in Avissawella, the Police said. According to the Police, a 17, 25 and a 27 year old had died after they fell into the abandoned mine in Maligawa Mawatha, in Avissawella. Investigations are underway.
