Sri Lankans in Oman in shock after four die in accident

Sri Lankan expatriates in Oman are in a state of mourning after the death of four of their compatriots in a road accident in Jebel Akhdar on Saturday, the Muscat Daily reported. Parts of North shuts down, protest in Kilinochchi

Parts of the North shut down today while a mass protest was staged in Kilinochchi demanding concrete answers to concerns on human rights violations related to the war. The protest took place as the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) began it?s 40th session in Geneva today with Sri Lanka on the agenda.
