Five arrested over theft of nearly Rs. 8 million in Ragama

Five suspects have been arrested over the theft of nearly Rs 8 million in Ragama, the Police said today. The Police said that among those arrested was the main suspect. The money belonging to a private company was stolen last month by armed men. The gunmen in a car had blocked a van taking the money from one office to another.
