SJB goes to court against 20th Amendment

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) today filed a petition with the Supreme Court challenging the bill titled “20th Amendment to the Constitution”. Another four petitions were also filed before the Supreme Court today challenging the 20th Amendment. Leader of the Tamil National Alliance MP R. Enrolling students to intermediate grades suspended

The Ministry of Education has suspended the process of enrolling students to intermediate grades in National Schools. The Ministry said the admission process has been suspended until further notice. The suspension will be in effect from today across all National Schools in the country, the Ministry added. (Colombo Gazette)
