Sri Lanka removed from EU list on money laundering

The European Commission has de-listed Sri Lanka from its list of High Risk Third Countries with Anti- Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Strategic Deficiencies published on May 07, 2020. Another six Navy officers contract coronavirus

Another six Navy officers have contracted the coronavirus, taking the total number of patients detected with the virus in Sri Lanka to 869. Director-General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said that all six Navy officers were attached to the Welisara Navy camp. He said that their samples were tested at the Karapitiya Hospital.
