Former Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed had talks with Colombo Mayor?Rosy Senanayake in Colombo. Nasheed tweeted saying among the matters they discussed was the merits of a low carbon development strategy. “Privileged to meet @Rosy_Senanayake, Mayor of Colombo. Colombo now hosts the second largest population of Maldivians. Two Chinese arrested without valid visas in Sri Lanka

Two Chinese nationals have been arrested in Colombo without valid visas, the Police media unit said. The Police said that the two Chinese were arrested by the Kollupitiya Police. The Police media unit said that a Chinese woman aged 48 and a Chinese man aged 27 had been arrested and are to be produced in court today.
