Dhanushkodi police have arrested a Sri Lankan Tamil when he clandestinely landed in an islet off Dhanushkodi, The Hindu newspaper reported. A police party which was on routine patrolling found Sri Lankan Tamil, identified as M. Duke Prithiviraj (36), walking towards the shore and arrested him. About 40 Sri Lankan Tamil refugees from various camps located across Tamil Nadu will be leaving for the island nation today (Friday)?under the voluntary repatriation programme of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), The Hindu newspaper reported.
