GMOA warned it will face the wrath of the public

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) was today warned by the Government to be prepared to face the wrath of the public.

State Minister of International Trade?Sujeewa Senasinghe said some Government doctors are using their profession to engage in politics and stage protests.

However he warned their actions will boomerang on them and they will face the consequences in the hands of the public.

The?State Minister said that the GMOA was misusing the freedom it has been given by the unity Government.

“Not all doctors. Some doctors are good and there are others who are bad,” he said.

Senasinghe also said that the law is equal to all and anyone can be arrested if they violate the law. (Colombo Gazette)
