Australian opposition MPs to visit Jaffna

An Australian opposition delegation?scheduled?to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow, will visit Jaffna and meet Tamil community leaders, the Australian Associated Press reported today. The report said that Australian Deputy Opposition Leader Julie Bishop will lead the opposition delegation to Sri Lanka to talk mainly about people smuggling. Two Jaffna uni students freed

Two students of the Jaffna university who were arrested together with four others last November by the Terrorist Investigations Division (TID), were freed today. Both students had been sent for rehabilitation to the Welikada rehabilitation center following their arrest.
