Sun directly over Sri Lanka from tomorrow to 15th

The sun?is going to be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka from the?05th to the?15th of April, the Department of Meteorology said today.

The nearest areas of Sri Lanka over which the sun is overhead tomorrow (05th), are Hambantota, Katudampe, Nakiyadeniya and Maliduwa about 12:13 noon.

Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western, Uva and Southern provinces and in the Ampara district after 2.00p.m tomorrow (Wednesday).

A few showers can be expected in the South-Western coastal areas during the morning as well.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. (Colombo Gazette)

Prisoners from Boossa granted bail asked to report to PHI

Three more coronavirus deaths reported in Sri Lanka taking total to 61

Three more coronavirus deaths have been reported today, taking the death toll in Sri Lanka to 61. The three deaths were reported in Colombo 10, Colombo 13 and Moratuwa. The Government Information Department said that one victim is an 84-year-old woman from Moratuwa.
