Tamils rescued in Canada 30 years ago make emotional return

A handful of Tamil refugees who were found starving and nearly without hope aboard open lifeboats 30 years ago off Newfoundland in Canada returned Thursday to visit the rescuers who helped bring them to safety, The Globe and Mail reported. Jayalalithaa asks Modi to ensure release of fishermen from Sri Lanka
