A motion to suspend state funds to all Ministers and their personal staff, was passed by Parliament today. The motion was passed with 122 members voting for it. The motion was submitted by United National Front Parliamentarian Patali Champika Ranwaka. TNA suspects Karuna and EPDP involved in criminal acts

The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) raised suspicions in Parliament today that former LTTE member Karuna Amman and the Eelam Peoples Democratic Party (EPDP) were involved in some criminal incidents in the North and East.
