Travel ban on passengers from Qatar, Bahrain and Canada

Passengers from Qatar, Bahrain and Canada will not be permitted to land in Sri Lanka for a period of two weeks. Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority G. A. Prison visits suspended until further notice

The Department of Prisons has suspended the visiting of prison inmates with immediate effect. The Department of Prisons said the suspension of prison visits will be in effect from today until further notice. Last week, the Department of Prisons limited the number of individuals visiting prison inmates to one person. Puttalam, Western and Southern Provinces identified as coronavirus high risk areas

The Puttalam District, and the Western and Southern Provinces have been identified as ?High Risk? areas for the coronavirus outbreak in Sri Lanka.
