UntitledRohitha Rajapaksa, the youngest son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, has two loves in his life these days. One in his girlfriend and the other his music.

While his elder brother is a politician and his second was in the Navy, Rohitha is now busy promoting his music.

“The three of us have different talents. Even though my eldest brother prefers politics my second brother and I prefer to keep our focus on other things. But we all are committed towards serving our people the best we can,” Rohitha said.

Rohitha has just released the video a new song which features his girlfriend. The lyrics was written by him and he also composed the melody.

“The visuals were created about 3-4 months ago. But the song is much older. This was something that was created by me when I was enjoying my leisure time. I wrote the lyrics and composed the melody. So I thought of singing it as well,” he said.

Rohitha says the song is a continuation if his first song. His first song was about a girl who leaves a boy while the second song is about the dreams of the boy and his girl and their life together.

“I have still not made videos for them. I plan to explore new grounds other than love in my future songs,” he added.

He says he has the full support of his parents and brothers for his music and his work.

Apart from music, Rohitha is also engaged in sports and he also enjoys writing poems.

As for his first love, Rohitha says he met his girlfriend after seeing her in a television advertisement.

“I was in the gym when I first saw that advertisement. Afterwards I tried to find her. It was only after 2-3 years that I was able to find her,” he said.

As for marriage, Rohitha says he still has not decided on a date to marry and will wait for at least another five years.

“I have to wait at least 5 more years until our life goals are achieved. I want to get up on my own feet without anyone’s help,” he added.

The talent of Rohitha has to be admired. All three are great sportsmen. We must appreciate them without viewing from a political box. In this aspect Mahinda is Great.
