Prime Minister insists no interference with NPC administration

RanilPrime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today insisted that the Government has no intention of interfering with the administration of the Northern Provincial Council (NPC).

Speaking in Parliament today, the Prime Minister said that the Government is coordinating with the NPC and Northern province chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran on matters related to the North.

The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) had in Parliament today raised concerns over the failure of the Government to include Wigneswaran in a task force appointed to address resettlement issues in the North.

The Prime Minister however said that a three member Ministerial committee appointed for this purpose was working with the chief secretary of the North on the matter. (Colombo Gazette)

  1. Mr.Prime Minister. You say something and do another. Why?
Why can’t you all leave all development and administration to the provincial council. The centre doesn’t want to share powers. That is the underlying factor. .

Good luck for the government; because it is not easy to work with foreign puppets. Tamil leaders are merely puppets of foreign powers. If India says to shoot and kill Sinhalese; Tamil fools will shoot and kill Sinhalese. If the West says to shoot and assassinate fellow Tamils, Sinhalese and Indians; Tamil fools will do it gladly. As a Tamil I have given upon on those useless fools. Good luck to Prime Minister Wickremesinghe.
