The judgement in the murder of former Parliamentarian Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra has been fixed for September 8.
The date was set by the Colombo High Court today.
Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra?was killed in October 2011 along with his bodyguards during a shootout involving rival groups from his same political party.
Former Parliamentarian?Duminda Silva was accused of being involved in the shooting incident but he had denied the allegations.
He?was an advisor to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the time of his death.?(Colombo Gazette)
