Avant Garde Chairman reiterates Fonseka took bribe from him

Avant Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi has reiterated an allegation that Parliamentarian, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka took a bribe from him.

While denying the allegations Fonseka has raised based on the Panama Papers revelations, Senadhipathi said that Fonseka should prepare to face the investigations to be held on the Rs. 35 million bribe.

Senadhipathi also insisted that his company does not have an offshore account as claimed in the?Panama Papers revelations.

Avant-Garde is?a security service and solutions provider for commercial, industrial and residential establishments in Sri Lanka.

The company, which had the support of the former government, has been under investigation after the current government took office last year.?(Colombo Gazette)
