30 Apr, 2016

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today asserted that there was no room for terrorism to raise its head again in Sri Lanka.

The Prime Minister also accused some media organisations of?publishing false reports stating that the LTTE was attempting to regroup in the country.

Wickremesinghe said that of the LTTE regroups then former President Mahinda Rajapaksa must be blamed for not completely eradicating terrorism.

Speaking at an event today, the?Prime Minister said that if the media has evidence to prove that the LTTE was regrouping then such evidence must be submitted to the police.

He said that if the media fails to do so then he will call the editor and the journalist of the media organisation and question them over the news report.
