Reports on SriLankan Airlines to be handed over to AG

Reports related to investigations conducted on SriLankan Airlines, SriLankan Catering and Mihin Lanka will be handed over to the Attorney General (AG) for legal action to be taken. Cabinet has approved a proposal to direct the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PcoI) to submit the reports to the Attorney General. Police fire tear gas on Batti protest against bomber’s burial

The Police fired tear gas on a protest staged in Batticaloa today against the burial of the body parts of the suicide bomber who attacked the Zion Church in Batticaloa on Easter Sunday.
