NPC Ministers write to Wigneswaran demanding reshuffle

A group of Northern Provincial Council (NPC) Ministers have sent a letter to Northern Province Chief Minister C V Wigneswaran demanding a reshuffle in the provincial administration.

Wigneswaran said that 16 Provincial Ministers have signed the letter demanding that some Ministers be removed and new ones be included.

The Chief Minister said that he needs to study the issue very carefully before taking a final decision.

He said that while it will be unfair to remove a Minister who is dedicated to his work, it will also be unfair not to include someone capable of doing a lot of work for the province. (Colombo Gazette)
