The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) says it is in no hurry to take disciplinary action on the SLFP members who attended a rally organised by the joint opposition recently.
SLFP Treasurer S.B. Dissanayake said that the party will act against those who violate party decisions.
However he said there was no need to hurry the process or get agitated when nothing is done.
He said the main goal?is to ensure the party stays united even when there are differences of opinion among some members.
Dissanayake said that he feels most of the internal issues in the party can be easily resolved through negotiations. (Colombo Gazette)
