We agreed to disagree on some issues says UNP leader

Prime Minister and United National Party (UNP) leader Ranil Wickremesinghe today said that the UNP and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) agreed to disagree on some issues.

He?said that both main political parties must work together to take the country forward.

The Prime Minister said that while working together both parties must also look at strengthening the parties individually.

The Prime Minister was speaking at an event held in Kandy today?in remembrance of former President D.B. Wijetunga. (Colombo Gazette)
