Case filed against ex Minister by bribery commission

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption filed a case against former Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena today.

Director Investigations, at the Commission to Investigate Bribery or Corruption Priyantha Chandrasiri said that the case was filed at the Colombo High Court.

He said the case was filed against the Minister over allegations he had obtained property as a bribe between 2004 and 2006. (Colombo Gazette)
