Nissanka Senadhipathi questioned by CID

Avant Garde chairman?Nissanka Senadhipathi appeared before the CID today to make a statement over a complaint filed against him.

Three Ministers had earlier called for an investigation by the police into claims made by Avant Garde chairman?Nissanka Senadhipathi that they took bribes from him.

Ministers Rajitha Senaratane, Patali Champika Ranawaka and Arjuna Ranatunga had written to the IGP calling for an investigation into the allegations.

Senadhipathi had claimed that three Ministers had taken a bribe from him but the three Ministers had rejected the claims. (Colombo Gazette)
