Former President Chandrika Kumaratunga (CBK) has left to Durban, South Africa to attend a Global Workshop on ?Enhancing the inclusivity and Accountability of the UN Peace-building Fund?.
She will address the meeting on ?Lessons from Sri Lanka on Peace, Reconciliation and Trust Building?.
The Peace Building Support Office of the United Nations co-ordinates the work of all UN Agencies concerned with peace-building and serves the UN Secretary General in peace-building efforts. (Colombo Gazette)
