The Chairman of the National Movement for a Just Society, the Venerable Maduluwawe Sobitha thero is in critical condition.

Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Harsha de Silva said?that?Maduluwawe Sobhitha thero is in critical condition but is receiving the best medical care.

“The factual position at the moment is that Ven Maduluwawe Sobhitha thero is in a critical condition but under the best care in the world,”?Dr. Harsha de Silva tweeted.

The Venerable Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero was taken to Singapore this week?for urgent medical treatment.

Maduluwawe Sobitha thero has been in poor health over the past couple of weeks and was receiving treatment in hospital.
