  1. Anyone who lived in Sri Lanka since independence from the British and up to the 1990s would know how the system was set up to discriminate against the Sinhalese in every sphere, including higher education, employment and bank loans. If Wigneswaran is sincere in his reconciliation with the Sinhalese, then, at least now he should take the lead to treat the Sinhalese as equals in the Northern Province and let those Sinhalese and Muslims who were chased out from the North, to their homes in the North, without lying to the world.

  2. Absolutely! No one thinks you are against the Sinhalese because you have very close relatives among the Sinhalese. That is not the point; in politics one can still be against a community depending on the political stand you take. You being a father in law to Sinhalese individuals, lived among the Sinhalese in Colombo and held a very high position in the judiciary still decided to charge that there is genocide in Sri Lanka. That’s your opinion and you stood steadfast on it. You opined rightly that MS-RW government was not worth being supported by TNA because there were lot of doubts and conjectures of what was in stake for the Tamils. Still TNA went all out to support MS. TNA criticised you, but only time will tell whether you’re right or they!
Well, like you everyone expects Sri Lanka to be prosperous and stable, but right now there are signs to the opposite. Endless list of ministers & deputy ministers, a weak foreign ministry (according to RW’s lament in Tokyo), Daham Sirisena’s US trip etc are but few examples.

  3. VIGNESWARAN IS ANOTHER TRAINED AND TAMED ACTOR OF THE TAMIL THEATER GROUP WHO IS REQUIRED TO TWIST AND TURN HIS TONGUE ACCORDING TO CONFRONTED SITUATIONS, THEY ALL ACT TO VERBALLY PLEASE THE MAJORITY COMMUNITY WHEN THEY FEEL ARE IN A WEAK COURT. TRUST NOT THE TAMIL POLITICIANS UNLESS THEY ARE IN A PHOTOGRAPH.THEY KNOW THE BEST WAY TO POLITICALLY BEHAVE TO CONVERT RANIL WICKREMASINGHE INTO A VERITABLE GOAT, NOW THAT HE OPENLY ACTS LIKE AN ERAMBU MADU – BUFFALO COMMITTED TO THE TAMIL ASPIRATIONS. VANNAKAM RANIL SAAMY! NAASAMA POO, SINHALA ARAHN JATHIYA.

  4. I have been asked by few Tamil intellectuals to guide the Northern CM, because MP’s don’t want to interfere in Provincial matters. Therefore, here is my comment about the Northern CM’s speeches and actions.

There are plenty of people to talk about equal rights, discriminations, war crimes etc. The Northern CM must stick with his mandate. I urge him to read his job specification and tick one by one as he has been accomplishing it. His major task is developing the North. For me he seems as a judge than CM, based on his speeches and actions. He must stick with his job mandate or must resign from the CM post ASAP.
