Child reported missing in Kotadeniyawa found dead

The child who went missing in?Kotadeniyawa has been found dead this morning, the police media unit said.

The body was found from a paddy field in close proximity to her house.

The police were yesterday investigating the?disappearance of a 4 1/2?year old child in?Kotadeniyawa.

According to the police a complaint was received that the child had gone missing early?last?morning while she was sleeping with her parents.

The police said that a search operation had then been launched to locate the child. (Colombo Gazette)
