NFF raises concerns over National security

Mohammed MuzammilThe National Freedom Front (NFF), a coalition partner of the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA), today raised concerns over the state of National security.

NFF spokesman Mohammed Muzammil claimed that the appointment of Tamil National Alliance (TNA) leader R. Sampanthan as the opposition leader, removing the Omanthai security post and releasing of several former LTTE cadres was a threat to National security.

He also accused President Maithripala Sirisena of giving key posts in Parliament to those who supported him at the last Presidential election.

Muzammil said that Sirisena had supported Ranil Wickremesinghe to be Prime Minister, Sampanthan to be opposition leader and JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake to be chief opposition whip since they had supported him during the “silent revolution” in January.

He claimed that the new political culture introduced by the Government has resulted in opposition voices in Parliament being silenced. (Colombo Gazette)

    1. Yes muzammil is a traitor and why the hell he is against the opposition leader Mr.Sampanthan we should be happy that at least a Tamil leader has come as an opposition leader and we should be proud of him and he is talking bullshit he doesn’t have any place among Muslim community

    2. This guy and his open mouth idiot of a leader are the biggest rumour mongers in this country with reckless disregard for civilized norm and behaviour. They are bane to Sri Lankan society. The likes of this guy unfortunately are the beneficiaries of the freedom now allowed in our country. Having never tasted such freedom in the past, they find it rather odd that they have freedom of expression and do so with reckless disregard.
