Diplomats hold talks with Muslims on recent hate crimes

Heads of Mission of the European Union, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, South Africa and Switzerland together with other diplomatic representatives today visited the Dewatagaha Mosque to meet leaders of the Muslim community. All schools except flood affected to re-open on Monday

All schools in the Western, Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces, except those affected by the floods will re-open on Monday. The Education Ministry said that 39 schools in the?Southern province which were damaged during the floods or are being used as temporary shelters, will remain closed.
