Probe begins on body of male found near beach

Investigations have been launched into the discovery of a body of a male near the beach at Kollupitiya, the police said.

Police spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera said that the male has not yet been identified and investigations are underway.

The navy took the body out from the beach where it was found and it was later taken for investigations.

There were no clothes on the body of the male?nor were there any seen near the location where his body was found. (Colombo Gazette)
