Gamini Lokuge’s slip of tongue goes viral

United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) member Gamini Lokuge, speaking at an election rally, has mistakenly said that the people are behind Ranil Wickremesinghe at the August 17 Parliamentary election.

His slip of tongue has gone viral on social media and?Uva Province Chief Minister Harin Fernando said that the slip of tongue showed who the real winner will be.

Fernando?says?Lokuge has clearly?confirmed that UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe will be the next Prime Minister.

“Lokuge has said that his former leader, the leader who made him was going to win the election,? Fernando said.

The UNP member said that even if someone attempts to tell a lie using his mouth, the tongue will never lie. (Colombo Gazette)
