President orders crackdown on ragging in universities

President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed the Inspector General of Police to crackdown on ragging in universities. The President’s office said that the President has instructed the IGP to pay special attention to prevent inhuman ragging in universities carried out by a minority group of students in order to interrupt the education of the majority of students.
