Ravindu to be with Vaas

Ravindu Gunawardena, the son of former DIG Vass Gunawardena, will be in the same cell as his father owing to security concerns.
Colombo Additional Magistrate (Traffic) J. Trotsky today approved the request after?Ravindu’s lawyers made the appeal saying his life was under threat.
Ravindu Gunawardena was further remanded till August 14 by the?Colombo Additional Magistrate.
He was arrested over the case involving the murder of a Muslim businessman in which his father is also a suspect.
Ravindu Gunawardena was arrested in the Borellesgamuwa area by the police Criminal Investigations Department (CID). (Colombo Gazette)
