Massive demo on Lanka in TN

A massive demonstration was staged in Tamil Nadu (TN) today against moves by the Sri Lankan government to dilute the 13^th Amendment to the constitution.
The demonstration which was staged in several parts of Tamil Nadu including Chennai, Madurai and Nagapathnam, was organized by the Tamil Eelam Supporters? Organisation (TESO).
DMK leader M. Karunanidhi and senior party member M.K Stalin were among those who took part in the demonstration.
At the protest TESO members had also urged the Indian government to boycott the Commonwealth Summit scheduled to be held Sri Lanka in November till the rights of the Tamil minorities are upheld.
Various parties that are part of TESO, including the DMK and the Dravida Kazhagam, on Monday issued press releases calling for supporters to join the protest.
