Nugegoda brothel busted

The police busted a brothel operating in Nugegoda in the guise of an Ayurvedic center, the police media unit said today.
The police said that the brothel had been operating on the top floor of the two storied building at Pagoda road in Nugegoda.
On a tip-off recieved by the Mirihana police the raid was carried out at the location and several people were arrested.
Among those arrested was the Manager of the premises, four women and another man, the police media unit said.
The suspects were to be produced before the Gangodawila Magistrate today. (Colombo Gazette)
