Duminda hits out at Hirunika

Parliamentarian Duminda Silva hit out at Hirunika Premachandra today, accusing her of attempting to use him to gain publicity.
Speaking to ?reporters outside court today, Silva said that Hirunika was attempting to use him to build her political career.
Silva was speaking after the case into the killing of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra was taken up at the Colombo Magistrates Court today.
“I want to tell Hirunika not to cling on me like a leech and do politics,” he said.
Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra was killed in a shooting incident in October 2011 and Silva was seen as one of the main suspects in the murder.
Since then?Hirunika Premachandra has been speaking out against Silva demanding justice and calling for his arrest. (Colombo Gazette)
