Gajen briefs Danish MPs

President of the Tamil National People’s Front (TNPF) and General Secretary of the All Ceylon Tamil Congress (ACTC) Gajen Ponnambalam, who is currently in Denmark, has briefed Danish parliamentarians on the situation in Sri Lanka.
Speaking at a conference in the Danish Parliament, Ponnambalam said that there was a systematic dismantling of the Tamils living as a distinct nation in Sri Lanka.
He also said that there was a serious danger for the Tamils if they rely on the LLRC or any other domestic accountability process for answers.
Ponnambalam also spoke of the grave inadequacy of the two UNHRC resolutions to curb the systematic anti Tamil measures that he claims are being unleashed in Sri Lanka. (Colombo Gazette)
