Demo in Mullaitivu against land grab

A demonstration was held in Mullaitivu today against the alleged land grab by the government in the north.
The demonstrators, backed by members of the Tamil National Alliance, later handed over a petition to the government agent in the area.
According to Tamil media reports from the area, the?demonstrators?also voiced opposition to alleged attempts to change the demographics of the area.
Civil society?groups?and war affected families also took part in the?demonstration, reports said.
TNA MP Suresh Premachandran, who was among those?attending?the demonstration,?addressed?the crowd.
