The bodies of ten suspected terrorists and six children were buried today. Minister’s staff arrested with 600 defamatory letters of Sirisena

Three employees of a Government Minister have been arrested with 600 letters defamatory of President Maithripala Sirisena. The letters had also attempted to incite hate among communities. According to the Police, the three suspects were arrested at the Central Mail Exchange in Colombo. They were handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division for further investigations.

Pakistan Foreign Minister’s Sri Lanka visit cancelled

The Sri Lanka visit of Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been cancelled, Pakistan Today reported quoting diplomatic sources. The tour has been cancelled due to a security clearance issue in a wake of the recent terror attacks in Sri Lanka. Qureshi was scheduled to visit the state on the invitation of the Sri Lankan Government.
