Cabinet re-shuffle tomorrow

A cabinet reshuffle will take place tomorrow, Presidential Spokesman Mohan Samaranayaka told the Colombo Gazette.
He said the portfolios are still not known and will be announced only tomorrow.
Several ministries are expected to change hands during the?reshuffle with some former Ministers also likely to be reappointed.
There is speculation that a new Prime Minister is also expected to be named as a result of the poor health of current Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne.
However some?government?sources?said that move has been reversed. So far Colombo Gazette has been able to confirm that Deputy Minister Faizer Mustapha will be given a new portfolio. ? (Colombo Gazette)

Cyclone Mandous to bring rain to parts of Sri Lanka

Cyclone Mandous is to bring heavy rain to parts of Sri Lanka, the Department of Meteorology said.
