India’s leading movie Producer and Director Pooja Bhatt has not forgotten Sri Lanka after using the country as a location for one her top films last year.
Pooja was in Sri Lanka in May last year with her production team to film scenes for ‘Jism 2’ starring the sexy Sunny Leone.
Asked by the Colombo Gazette if she will look at Sri Lanka as a location again in the future, Pooja said yes.
“Most certainly. Sri Lanka has proved very lucky for me in every way,” Pooja said in a short but yet emphatic response.
Pooja had loved the locations in Sri Lanka used for ‘Jism 2’ which was released in August last year and became a huge hit in India.
Jism 2 is the sequel to the 2003 film Jism and marked the debut of Indo-Canadian pornographic actress Sunny Leone in Bollywood.
Bhatt made her acting debut at age 17, in 1989 with Daddy, a TV film directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt. In the film she portrayed a soul-searching teenage girl in an estranged relationship with her alcoholic father, played by actor Anupam Kher.
Her biggest solo hit and her big screen debut came with a musical hit, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin (1991), which was a remake of the Oscar-winning Hollywood classic It Happened One Night. Pooja received the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for the film. Another hit movie of Bhatt was Sadak (1991).
